I have tutoring experience that spans several different contexts, including academic student leadership, after-school support, and community outreach. During my A-level studies, I served as an Academic Director, overseeing the academic performance and progress of my fellow students. I assisted in planning and tutoring international students to introduce them to British Education system. Before A-levels, I worked at my school's maths club, where I provided one-on-one support to students struggling with maths concepts.

I have personal experience with Edexcel AEA, STEP and SAT exams, which can be helpful for tutoring sessions. From my studies of Financial Mathematics at LSE, I have an in-depth background in applied mathematics in finance and statistical science, as well as coding experience with Matlab, Python, R, and SQL.

Outside direct academic experience, I volunteer with STEM Learning, an organisation dedicated to promoting STEM education to young people. As a volunteer, I am responsible for supporting and mentoring younger students in STEM subjects, helping them to develop a love and understanding for these critical fields.

Overall, my earlier experience has given me a solid foundation in creating engaging and supportive learning environments, working with students of all ages and backgrounds, and tailoring my approach to meet individual student needs. I am passionate about helping students achieve their academic goals and excited about the prospect of continuing to make a meaningful impact on the lives of learners in the future.

PERSONAL STATEMENT

I am deeply committed to helping younger students build a strong foundation in mathematics. I take pride in my ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and engaging way, and to adapt my teaching style to suit the needs and learning styles of each individual student.

As a recent graduate of Financial Mathematics at LSE, I have a deep understanding of advanced mathematical and statistical concepts and their applications in real-world situations, which I am excited to share with students. I believe in fostering a positive and supportive learning environment, where students can feel confident in their abilities and motivated to succeed.

Additionally, I can teach economics at both A-Levels and university level, having studied it extensively during my time at sixth form and at LSE. My experience in economics has given me a broad understanding of micro and macroeconomics, and an ability to explain economic concepts in a clear and concise manner. I understand the importance of being able to apply economic theory to examples from current affairs, and I am committed to helping students develop this important skill.

I have tutoring experience that spans several different contexts, including academic student leadership, after-school support, and community outreach. During my A-level studies, I aided in planning and tutoring international students to introduce them to British Education system. Before A-levels, I worked at my school's maths club, where I provided one-on-one support to students struggling with maths concepts. I believe that I can bring a better system to students to learn subjects at sixth form level and below, which will also make their exam preparation less stressful.

I have taken part in various investment competitions and Mathematics Olympiads. I have also participated in the Duke of Edinburgh's Award, where I have volunteered and worked on a variety of community projects. Therefore, I can discuss and provide support with various extra-curricular options available to students.

My earlier experience helped me learn the best teaching practices and improved my patience, organisation, and creativity skills. In addition to my strong academic background in mathematics and economics, I have also been actively involved in a variety of extracurricular activities. I enjoy playing chess and horse riding. Both have taught me the importance of discipline, hard work, and perseverance.

As a recipient of multiple academic scholarships, I have gained a deep appreciation for the value of hard work and dedication. As a tutor, I can draw on this experience and share the knowledge and skills I have gained with my students. I understand the challenges that come with academic pursuits, and I am committed to helping my students overcome these challenges and achieve their full potential.

I am committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive environment for all students, and to providing them with the resources and support they need to succeed.
