PERSONAL STATEMENT

My passion for tutoring developed when I had an amazing tutor for my Economics A-level. Previously, I had little interest in the subject and even disliked it. As the only girl in the class, I often had to defend myself and found it difficult to connect with the syllabus. However, my tutor broke down these barriers by being a female economist with a passion for the environment. She helped me approach the subject from a fresh perspective and actively engage with the syllabus.

Thanks to her guidance, my confidence and grades improved significantly. I became genuinely interested in my lessons and started incorporating my newfound knowledge into everyday conversations. I am extremely grateful for my tutor, and now I aspire to help others discover their own love for learning. I enjoy working with individuals and believe in tailoring learning plans to suit each person's needs.

For me, learning should be a joyful experience, and tutoring should offer a fun and refreshing approach outside of the traditional classroom. I emphasize the practical application of subject knowledge to build a strong foundation and help students feel confident during examinations. Being young myself, I can easily relate to the struggles of young students, and I believe that by fostering a trusting and enjoyable relationship, I can help unlock their passion for learning, just as I discovered mine.
