Teaching Experience
12 years teaching in Secondary Schools, including 3 years as an advisor to two academy chains. I’ve taught Maths to students aged 10 – 18, including those preparing for the 11+ exams, as well as University applicants. I’ve had experience of leading a Maths department for 2 years. I have a Masters in Mathematics Education, and have been trained to mark GCSE exam scripts for Edexcel.
Skills and Interests
I enjoy watching and playing sport, particularly football. As well as this, I enjoy live music, and I’m currently teaching myself to play the piano. I like to experiment with different recipes and try to recreate dishes I’ve had on my many travels and adventures.
Work Experience
Over 10 years experience as a teacher working in secondary schools.
Experience as a Head of Faculty in two schools, and a subject advisor to over 25 schools whilst working for two academy chains.
