To Parents Who Want Their Children To Excel At GCSE

Now that the holidays are over, children are returning to school feeling either excited… apathetic… or somewhere in between.

This mood that they find themselves in will undoubtedly affect their performance, school work and soon to be exam results.

A Student Engagement poll done by Gallup in 2016 (with over 915k students in the U.S), found that the number of students engaged in school drastically decreases as they move up in year and simultaneously, the students actively disengaged increases.

Although the poll was conducted on American students, we see a similar pattern happening with students in the UK.

If left to chance, the odds are clearly against your children engaging at school, and therefore, not achieving the academic results that you both desire and deserve.

Who Are We?

Love Learning Tutors is a company that provides Private Tuition and Learning Support to students in Central London. Our company is supported by The Prince’s Trust and The Tutors’ Association.

At Love Learning Tutors, we focus on teaching and engaging students in fun ways that spark curiosity and nurture a love for learning. Our students' happiness and wellbeing is at the core of everything we do.

When students are engaged, they learn more. So it is vital that we create the right environment for learning:

  • Raising student expectations
  • Cultivating a positive mindset
  • Developing strong relationships
  • Establishing routines and
  • Challenging students to participate and take risks

These all affect how much students engage and learn.

Why Is Engagement Key?

Looking back at the Student Engagement poll by Gallup, we learn some pretty insightful statistics…

Engaged vs Disengaged Students Statistics.png

By simply engaging students in learning again, their brains retain what they learn better, their confidence and self-esteem increases and they more than double their chances of excellent grades.

That's what these Masterclasses will do for them.
